Refund policy

At Kalmaia Home, we want customers to feel confident when making a purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may request a return, exchange, or refund in accordance with the policy outlined below.

Return Window

Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order.

To be eligible for a return, the return request must be submitted within 14 calendar days from the date the package is marked as delivered by the carrier.

Requests submitted after the 14-day return period may not be eligible for approval.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • The item is unused or only lightly handled.
  • The item remains in its original condition.
  • All original tags, labels, packaging, and accessories are included.
  • The item shows no significant signs of wear, washing, damage, or misuse.

We accept returns for both:

  • Buyer's remorse (for example, if you changed your mind, ordered the wrong item, or no longer want the product).
  • Products that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

All returned items are inspected upon arrival before a refund or exchange is approved.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and inventory reasons, the following items are not eligible for return:

  • Customized or personalized products
  • Opened personal care items
  • Opened hygiene-related products
  • Digital products or downloadable content
  • Clearance, final sale, or heavily discounted items marked as non-returnable

If a product is identified as non-returnable, this will be indicated on the product page where applicable.

How to Start a Return

To request a return, please contact our customer support team before sending any item back.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • The email address used when placing the order
  • The reason for the return
  • Photos of the item if it is damaged, defective, or incorrect

Please do not send items back without prior authorization, as this may delay processing.

Return Shipping Costs

For returns due to buyer's remorse or non-defective products, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Return shipping charges are based on the actual shipping cost charged by the carrier.

For items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, Kalmaia Home will cover reasonable return shipping costs and provide return assistance when applicable.

Prepaid Return Labels

Prepaid return labels are not automatically provided for standard returns.

For approved defective, damaged, or incorrect-item claims, we may provide a prepaid return label or arrange an alternative return solution at our discretion.

Exchanges

We support exchanges for eligible products.

If you would like a different size, color, or replacement item, please contact our customer support team within the applicable return period.

Exchange requests are subject to product availability at the time the request is processed.

If a direct exchange is not available, customers may be offered a refund after the returned item has been received and approved.

Refund Processing

After the returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, including:

  • Credit or debit cards
  • PayPal
  • Other eligible payment methods used at checkout

Depending on your financial institution, additional processing time may be required before the refunded amount appears in your account.

Kalmaia Home does not charge restocking fees for approved returns.

Partial Returns

If only part of an order is returned, the refund amount will reflect the value of the returned item(s) only.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to a product defect, shipping error, or other issue caused by us.

Lost or Damaged Return Packages

If a return package is lost or damaged while being shipped back to us, please contact the shipping carrier directly and retain any available proof of shipment and tracking information.

Customers should provide tracking details when returning items, as proof of shipment may be required during an investigation.
